Colin McRae Dirt 2 demo is out !

Post by RX7 »

It's actually pretty good. Handling seems less arcadey than Grid and Dirt 1.

I played ps3 demo but it's out on 360 also.

I have become a little disillusioned with games recently. Knowing how much I used to enjoy a game of Forza, whether racing or drifting, or Call of Duty.......I guess it's because the social element of gaming (if that isn't a contradiction) was the component that I used to love.

Billy no mates in the front room getting dismantled by computer controlled opponents just isn't the same.

Is this demo that good Gareth? Is there a proper Gran Turismo yet?

who can forget the fun we all used to have on Call of Duty 3 Stu, it was pretty much every night and till 3am Sunday mornings. I miss those days !! Ps3 gaming is so stale to the 360 in comparison.

Dirt2 isn't groundbreaking by any means, it should be how Dirt1 was made. Forza3 out in oct should be good, I was disappointed with gt5 prologue, the graphics were amazing no doubt about that but none of the other issues with GT had been resolved. Will have to wait and see for GT5.

With COD6 out in nov I'm getting on 360 to keep up with Ben, Dan etc.

To be honest I had high hopes for Race Pro the pc versions are amazing but just didn't get into the 360 version. Wasn't a bad game just hoped for a bit more in terms of graphics, tracks etc.

Maybe get another 360 for Winter use again then? I'd be up for that if we could recover the fun factor enjoyed by so many of us...........
