Ebay?

Post by Gerry H »

OK call me sceptical but I seem to have a knack for finding the 'bargain of the century'

Take a look at the payment method, bank payment only. Check out the feedback, all private listings, dodgy names, dodgy dealings IMO.

Looks like knocked off gear to me.

Feedback could be genuine though as buyers have high/good feedback too.

You may get a bargain but no guarantee of course.

go and collect it and insist on paying when you get there. just all the auctions finish very close to each other.

But all the feedbacks look dodgy.

I reckon it's a take the money & run job. No tellys, no come back.

Here's a buy it now that's about a third of retail.

I asked if I could collect with cash and a single word reply was received.

"No"

I reckon a few people are about to catch a cold. I tried reporting it to ebay but there's no facility for suspicion.

Now that is something ebay could and should clamp down on. Did you report it/them?

There's a whole new industry out there. Just search for 'positive feedback'

There's a lot of it going on Gerry, i blame eBay for not policing their auction site properly. As far as eBay/PayPal are concerned all they want is their fees and until they get a number of complaints on one seller they won't do anything, and by the time they do it's too late. The dodgy seller gets shut down and reappears the same day as someone else.

Scammy b4stards!! Yes i'm talking about eBay and those dodgy sellers!! :x
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
