heating brakes,- sprints....

is there anyway to get heat into the brakes before going out on a sprint, has my compbrake pads are truly shocking from cold so don want to get to the first corner with shite brakes and the last with shit hot brakes so anything i can do???

Seriously, there is very little you can do Kyle. You may be able to do some gentle brake warming on the way to the start line but you'd need to be subtle as this is normally prohibited (much as warming the tyres is)

You could always do some left foot braking around the paddock whilst queueing for your go. This is what I've done historically (there goes my big secret) and it seems to work OK although when you're 19 stone you can get most things to stop pretty quickly anyway :D
