good day gone BADish....?

Post by russ979 »

Hi all can i pick your brains?
Just got back from our first jolly out of the season at snetterton, started out this morning at the crack of dawn, and got to snett by 7.20 this morning hoping to get a garage (cos someone pm`ed us saying its always run on a first come first served basis- i`ill mention no names!) Anyhow the day was going great, we were running harry`s scoob for the morning session, it was killing me having my car there, and not running it! So i had to stump up

Sounds like you had an action packed day! No idea about the electrical gremlins but I am sure about the garages. Every trackday I've done there (50+) has had garages on a first come first served basis. MSV will not reserve them, obviously if the TDO reserves all 26 then you're stuffed...........

Sorry your day ended up in disappointment. I did shout after you to say hello at lunch but you either didn't hear me or were pissed off that you wasted a lay in :)

Sorry to hear what happened Russ, especially with the yellow poo pads
:x
If memory serves me right there is either 1 or 2 relays under the dash that control the fuel and ignition and can be tempremental at times, just like the main relay in honda's,
Might be worth a look :D

It could have been a lot worse Russ - be thankful it was a twiddle of the fuel cap to bring it to life :D

Great day - you looked like you were having fun (although missing your old pads) ;)

Yes it could have been sooo... much worse! Yes i was having fun (harry was happy that his did`nt miss a beat!) the lil` yella fella was pulling like a train (athough i did get passed by a blue scooby blurr :-D ) the new tyres were gripping fine! And personaly i do think that the mintex extreme pads are far better than yellow stuff, and a fraction of the price!
But on the whole it was a great day! the wether was perfect, there seemed to be no real idiots on track and was generaly a good vibe in the pits :-D

Yes thanks mike!
It did`nt miss a beat, athough it does need setting up, as was over boosting with the blead valve on, so went back to the original afr, and now does`nt seem to be boosting enough :?: :? but on the whole could`nt ask for better :!:
