bonnet vents?

Post by Ian200sx »

My escort seems to run fairly warm while stationary but when the bonnets lifted cools quickly, I'd like to fit bonnet vents but as ifs fibre glass and been painted recently I don't really fancy a vent that will require the bonnet being resprayed. Can any one suggest a type of vent that I maybe able to fit with out damaging the surrounding paint work? The small scooby vents seem OK but without seeing exactly how they fit I'm not sure. Oh and nothing massive and stupid.

Cheers for any help

and it wouldnt do you much good, the base of the windscreen is a high pressure point, thats where the air feed for the in car vents comes in, wont let a lot out, you need a vent as far forward as possible, in the low pressure area just behind the rad to suck the air out.
