Trackday insurance

Post by Gedge »

Ill be taking my s14a on the track this year when the weather gets a bit better. The only thing im worried about is insurance.

Now the car is worth a fair bit and ive put a lot of time into it so there's no way I couldn't insure it. My only concern is, is trackday insurance counted against your normal car insurance? So if you bin it and claim, will that affect your road no claims / premium etc?

Thanks,
Chris

No, its totally seperate mate.

Try http://www.moris.co.uk for insurance if your own insurers don't do track insurance. Also they give you discount as you take out more days with them as long as you don't claim, so it ends up not too bad.

I pay just over 60 quid to insure the Evo on track. excess is circa 750 if I remember.
