Insurance on a trackcar

Post by RobCallow »

Bm is going to be taken off the road and turned into a proper trackcar

Question is what are the options regarding insurance?

ie can I get a policy to cover the car just sat on the driveway?

Interested in what others have done.

Competition Car Insurance may be a good bet. They (as the title suggests) specialise in this sort of thing. Are you going to still use the car to get to and from tracks or will it become a trailer queen?

If you're going to use the car on the road as mentioned above, CCI are ideal. If you are going down the trailer Queen route, I would buy a wheel clamp or two and leave it at that. Once its under a car cover it won't get wrecked.......
