Winter Testing Catalunya Mon Nov 17th 008

Post by Mad Monk »

Once again i have had the pleasure to attend this thanks to my friends who run those silver cars that the FIA were hell bent on trying to stop winning a world championship !!!. I'm sure after this seasons fiasco (and 2007 by all accounts) many of you will agree that Paul Stoddart former owner of Minardi was not too far away from the truth when he quoted the alternative meaning of the F.I.A. as being Ferrari International Assistance. Well anyway leaving the politics behind here are a few photos from Monday, although i was there with McLaren i must admit my main interest was in the performance of Sebastien Loeb who i know quite welland must say i was impressed with his performance which was 8th fastest out of 17 on the day with 4 of the 8 fastest times being taken by ex F1 drivers Alex Wurz, Pedro del a Rosa, Taku Sato and current driver Robert Kubica.
The following photos are of Sebastien Loeb

The lack of protruding bits and proper tyres are steps in the right direction. 8)
