Unless you get a proper pukka pre-preg one then the normal ones are just glass fibre with a couple of resin rcih wet laminate plies on the top and these are usually as heavy, if not heavier than the aluminium one on your car!

most people dont buy them to be ultra light though do they, just to look wikid :-D

am just after t for the looks really, but i have heard about the fibre glass jobbies, i think the selbion ones are like this.

know of any carbon bonnets going?

track would be fun, but i would like to tudy my car up abit more, and have all ways fanced a carbon bonnet. but dont fancy paying the full asking price :)

i have mannaged to get hold of a boot with no holes in at all, so am going for the smooth look at the rear :)

could always get it vinyl wrapped with the carbon "look" :wink:
