Adding pictures to topics

Post by JonnyR »

Yeah, this is your typical stupid question.

I was going to post some pics of ongoing projects, but I got stuck straight away, dur...

How do I transfer pictures from 'my documents' to in this typie box thingy?

I know theres loadsa technical jargon for this type of stuff but where computers are involved, lets just say im about ten years behind... ha ha :-D

You need to have your pics hosted on one of those online personal/pic/vid hosting websites.

Then when your pics are online you just have to type the following in your post, e.g.

You can get the url of your online pics by right clicking on them while viewing them and clicking on properties. Just copy the url on the properties dialogue box that comes up on screen and paste in between the brackets leaving no spaces.

I think I get what you're saying mate, a bit like posting a vid on youtube then copying its location for another site like a link. kind of....???

Well I think I understand that bit, but where do I put my desired pics? Is there a dedicated website?

God thats two stupid questions in one day!
