What video editing software

Post by mike-payne »

OK guy's.. I'm after some advice.....
I have purchased a nice new laptop and now i want some decent video editing software.
I have Magix Movie Pro Plus 11.... is this actualy any good?
i had pinacle before, which i liked, but it was very unstable...

so just seeing what you guys use and find good/easy...

the machine is running Vista, with a Centrino duo running 2.2ghz.

I haven't got vista so can only say that I use XP's own moviemaker which yes it's a bit lacking in funky bits but does a good job - i've got pinnicle but that just won't sync sound and video ... weird

was looking for something a little more involved, but maybe the standard software would be good enough!

Adobe Premiere Elements.

Very cheap and the pro version is considered as one of the best on the market.

Made by the same people who make Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.

Premiere is a scaled down version of their profesional software making it very reasonable and user friendly.
