Shamed into a 'hi' thread :)

Post by michael »

Hi!

I kinda put off saying hi as I dont have my car yet.....I sold my VX220 when baby arrived, replaced with a company BMW 320d (eek). its been 2 years of purgatory, which will be ending shortly when I buy....wait for it.....a MK1 MX5.

114bhp is hardly big power, but I cant think of a better track day introduction car. The VX terrified me, it was way better than me and I was terrified of binning it.

So, hi, and hope to see you soon!

Michael

Welcome Michael

MX5's are awesome track day cars and great drivers cars for the rest of the time - no shame in that - in fact quite the opposite :thumb:

So, when does it arrive?

When I find the perfect one!

I want an early 1.6 (less weight) with some subtle mods already done (coilovers etc) - that way I can plough more cash into track time rather than adding bits to it. BMW goes in April, so I will have one as soon as I can, but at the latest April!
