Ben and Gerry star in The Radiator!

Post by Andy916 »

Just got the Harrow car club newsletter in the post.

Open up and there's Ben beaming at the camera trophy in hand, and showing the way in his type R.

Turn the page and there's Gerry with a trophy too.

For good measure there's Andy's Scoob on the back page, narrowly beaten this year by a Porche 996.

Not a pipe or a flatcap in sight however

cheers
Andy

Do all members of the HCC get a newsletter? Perhaps the mail is slower in Norfolk? (awaits the hail of abuse about all things in Norfolk being slower)

And a pic of Ren as best Novice :D

That had to be a special camera as they're the worst photographs I've ever seen

Stu: If you're a HCC member, you should receive a newsletter and a membership renewal form for next year.

Gerry...would I ever take the piss

Although I must say that picture of you collecting your trophy, it does look as if he's just given you a squeeze on the buttocks  . In a sporting sort of way of course.

The fact that you've won a trophy and we haven't i'm not green with envy honest...i'm not i tell you

You can soon put that right. Start doing some sprints or hillclimbs. The car's got all the right bits for the regs. so all you'd need is a MSA licence and join a club.

I'll ignore the other comments, especially the buttock squeezing one :gay: :D

BTW, it's been a good year for trophies. I've got about half a dozen here.

Not such a good year for fences and tyre walls though  :D

If things don't play out as we're hoping then we'll have to seriously consider sprints. What do you have to do to get a MSA license.
