eBay......the wait is a killer

What is it that is so tantalising about a bid on the old auction sites? I've been sitting here, in front of this damned screen, for hours waiting, reacting and waiting again. 12 bids later and 2 hours to go. I'm winning so far and it's kind of addictive..........

I have banned myself from ebay. It's only because Sarah wouldn't let me sell the house to feed my addiction :D

I do sneak on there now and again though, just to see if there is anything I "need"

I've only used it a few times and it is strangely compelling I do hope that my competitive streak hasn't blinded me into paying over the odds.

I get addicted and it does become a bit competitive towards the end.

I know what you mean about the competitiveness. I am sure I have payed too much for one or two things in the past but I just can't help it. Once I get into the bidding I just have to have it

I have never used the snipe monkey type things as I wouldn't know what I was buying and I when I was buying it :D

I have used bidsnipe in the past (in my limited experience) but it's almost like going out for a good meal and letting someone else eating your dinner.

I've bought alot of vietnam collectibles on Ebay - problem I found, I would win ... the 'thing' would turn up - and i'd throw it in the roof without evening checking it - it's the thrill of the hunt !! ..
