what is the widest....?

tyre you can fit on a 9.5J rim?? i was thinking either 275 or maybe 285?? what is the widest anyone has gone?

Be careful mate,
Widest is not best unless you are just dragging the car perhaps.
285 is the widest you can put on a 9.5J really, but i would say that the best would be a 275 or even 265 to avoid rollover and give best handling. This is a very wide rim for a 200!

but you can just get a 285/35 on a 9.5" rim but its on the limit

I run with 255/35 on my 9.5s wouldn't go more than a 265 personally as you'll struggle to get a matching width tyre on the front and it'll make it handle a but funny...

I am running 275/35 on mine but now have a set of 265's to go on.
