Anyone Use Falken FK 452?

Post by Bealo »

Anyone use these tyres? What do you think of them??

They are making a big hit with the M3 guys on BM3W and i think i will be giving these a try sometime soon.

I'm going to go up a width size front and back to 245.35.19 & 275.30.19 the cheapest price i've got for four tyres delivered so far is

I have a set on the back of my car, seem to do the job well. Certainly better than the basic Bridgestones that are on the front. The FK452's get good reviews on the SXOC :)

I can't believe how reasonably priced they are against other makes like the Michielin PS2.

TBH, mine were on the wheels when I bought them. I will be using them in the future though :)

The price you have been quoted will be about as good as you're gonna get it, that's less than normal cost price from what I understand.

Regarding the quality of the tyres, Madenglishman had them on his proven 500+ GTR and rated them highly.

I had the FK452's on my track wheels and used them at Snetterton in February. They don't seem as grippy as the Toyo T1-R in the wet, but they were pretty good overall. I have previously used the older FK451's too. For the money, they are a good tyre to use and it seems that the newer 452's last longer too.
