1000+ Miles 8 Safe laps of the Ring Then!

Post by RobCallow »

After cocking up my boarding to the Euro tunnel and pressing the wrong button on the ticket machine, it ment I was not on the same train as the other guys on the way home.

I did manage to get on the next train this is where my (Off Ring Accident) happened I managed to clip the boarding ramp entering the train and have taken a chunk out of one of my alloys!!!

A bit of a downer after a great week.

ps. While I was waiting to board the Eurotunnel 2 Ferrari F430's came into the carpark (will post pic's once I have uploaded them)

What with you denting a wheel, Deano denting his bumper and me denting my roof~ all off the Ring, it makes you think that someone was looking out for us lot. A shame about the euro tunnel cock up mate, but certainly not enough to spoil a brilliant few days. You were great company mate. Will have to try and make sure you're on the next one :thumb:

Think i'm going to get a set of trackday wheels so as to not keep knocking chunks out of my prodrive ones!!! :-D Then get some of those tyres Dunk and Dean were using. 8)

Get some wheel bearings whilst you're at it :D Both Andy and Frayz suffered with bearing problems due to the increased loads that the grippy tyres caused.

Shieet mate, really sorry to hear that, I couldnt believe you had pressed the wrong button though. Easily done though.

You were great fun this week mate and came up with some classic one liners.

Cheers for all the passenger rides and letting me drive it from the pizza place even though it was warm when I accelerated it to 4k revs !!!!

See you at the next meet in may.
