Speed camera's.....one flash 2 flash??????

Does anyone know why some flash twice and some once :?:

I got flashed a couple of months ago in Birmingham and it flashed twice, it normally does afaik but today I got flashed again but only flashed once. For whatever reason the Birmingham ticket never dropped on the works mailbox so fingers crossed it was empty but lightning won't strike twice when it comes to points I bet :? :? so I am expecting more pain!!!!!!

i think 1 flash is a warning to say look your on the limit and 2 is

Its just the way they go i think, some take 2 pics just so they definitely get you.

Some take 2 photos then the speed can be "double checked" using the lines painted on the road.

Some just take the one.. Both different systems.

Norfolk use GATSO's which take 2 photos and have the lines on the road!

i was once listening to a conversation between two people i have never seen before and definately dont know any one involved in said conversation and they rekon if you go through a gatso at 160 or over it is too slow to catch the pic .wonder if this could be tested on a runway or something under carefull supervission and saftey proceedures

I heard a similar conversation in a similar pub but thought it was 170. That could be a laugh testing that at Brunters :thumb:
