Time for a change?

Post by Stuart »

A time comes in every mans life, when he has to stand and take stock, to take time to assess his place. I dearly love my GTR, but I have become a little concerned recently. The brakes are better, the handling is improved, the performance is stronger........so why is my eye wandering? :) I have a long shopping list in my mind of cars that I would love to own, so I often peruse various sites to see whats out there. Imagine my horror when I found this;
A big single 3.1 litre 6 speed, Veilside, Top Secret and TRD kitted beast running 500bhp at low boost and the kit to run 750 at high boost.

This maybe just a midnight bout of boredom (perhaps I should try sleep or something else) but this may also be the start of a new chapter..................comments welcomed.

Very very nice.

I would say if you are having doubts about the GTR then will your heart really be in whatever you do to it or will you always have those doubts?

Will you want to "stray" in the future?

If you will, is there any point in putting more time, money and effort into it or is it best to "jump" now and rekindle the passion with a new toy.

Crikey, got a bit deep there for a moment. :D

Follow your heart oh mighty one :D You might regret it if you don't.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

:) - finally a car which you will look small in! - let's say you bought a supra, would you buy a 'cheap' track car?

Awesome mate, love the 'induction kit' (metal gauze). Not sure about the heavy welding though lol

For me this is nicer....biased to Mazda obviously...mmmm...supercharger and Mazdaspeed bodykit....lovely !!!!

This is also nice but needs the suspension lowered and a rear wing !!

stu... how often do we have this conversation ?

you know my thoughts :roll: :lol:

mind you that supra is very nice.......... but how many minutes would it take to want to change or start modding it further. Better brakes needed, change coilovers cos the Cusco's are unusable on UK roads etc.

how about an R33 GTR .... they are dirt cheap today - I don't really see you in a supra mate ... in the same way I couldnt imagine dunk driving a GTR or gareth not have lace and frilly curtains in his.
