Can you use that stuff for intercooler hose then bart?
This is a car being built on the cheap and silicone hoses and bends are not cheap!

Ian, I have learn't that when Bart has what most people would class as a crazy idea they often work.
You've seen and heard his Sierra Gt that he uses for drifting.....He built the induction kit for it...The same principal as a K&N 57i genII kit. Except it didn't cost him

Just spoke to Al (Bart) and he said that there some of that tubing in my shed so i've taken a picture of it for you. This tube is bendable and you can stand on it.

Thanks for that Paul, much apprecited.
I put an induction kit on this Silvia for about 20pence! Was an old cone filter and filed it to shape so it would wedge into the AFM!

That pipe would be ok but i am not sure the airflow would be to good with all those ridges, not sure also how you could join it at the end as you could not use a jubilee clamp.

Thanks though mate.

that tube is ridged on the out side but the the inside of it is smooth but with little shallow rids that will not make that
much difference. i have used this stuff for air flow for brakes and a direct feed for my induction kit
as pablo has already stated. you can use a jubilee clamp but may have to cut slight bit from the inside
to fit but will still be stiff.

the pipe i use has sustained speeds of 130mph with a 90 degree bend in it.
