with my finger 80% healed it was time to jump back on the car to get some work done on it as its 5 weeks since i did anything on a car and its been pissing me off:D

changed the front studs for longer ones so could get the new wheels on the car with 7mm spacers fitted other wise wheels caught on the calapers.
while i was doing that paul got the tires fitted to the alloys.

paul is quite annoyed that im back working on the car as i make quite a mess, he has enjoyed the last 5weeks with a tidy house.
back on form:D

The car is looking good though. It would probably be lighter if you took all of those bloody stickers off! :gnorsi:

I never drove the Sierra with the new engine......shame that.

Took the car for a very short drive today, mainly to check a few things over. Mainly the cooling system following the rad change. Took it down a private road so that i could boost it, bearing in mind this is the first time i've boosted it at it's current output. All seems fine at the moment with NO signs of any brown sludge or colour in the water, well happy.

The only thing that broke was me:blush5:. Some how I manged to bite my tongue and I also need to work on my gear changes. As everytime I changed gear when on boost the seat belt would lock and cut into my neck.

So...where are we?

Registration form sent in for the 2012 season
Alan's new helmet has arrived
New race suit ordered
Trailer booked for all rounds
Holidays booked from work
Sponsors have lists of all dates/rounds

To Do
Change alternator - DONE - Found the alternator belt was frayed so new one ordered.
New undertray/splitter to be made - AJT Fabrications on the job;)
Sort out wheel/tyre combinations - sorted
Refurb 3rd set of alloys
Test radiator
Make changes to suspension (still to decide what) - Decided but still to be done.
New rear pads (EBC redstuff or Black Diamond Predator),Next couple of weeks
Bit more mapping - Next couple of weeks
List 1a tyres to get. Decision has been made as to what tyres, just need to sort out where they are coming from.
(These will remain off the forum until the start of Time Attack at the earliest)

All being well there will be a couple of changes and surprises between now and the rolling road;)
