MLR Only class for TA!!
They are only there as a taster and not as a different class to the existing 2008 series. It would lead to all kinds of differing moanings about I am quicker than xyz competitors and I feel would create pressure for the MLR guys to over step the boundary of talent to measure themselves against the established competitors. This was is safer all round I think.

I am not slurring the abilities of the MLR massive but it would be like timing the PTT at Silverstone at the end of the day. All of the drivers will be trying to compare their times with those in TA proper that have done a few events. Some with good cars and good abilities but not all. It would be dangerous.

Personally I couldn't give a rats ass about circuit layouts or what people think. The Time Attack is about commitment. conviction and dedication. If people can't appreciate or understand this then tough.
Don't lurk in the shadows saying 'i'm quicker than them'. The series was open to all to apply, so why bitch about not running on the same circuit layout.
I am a big Evo fan and once owned a Colt Lancer 2000 Turbo and nearly bought an evo 7 a couple of years ago, but this really is not worth stressing over. If they wanted to compare themselves against TA cars they sould have entered.
