unfortunatly the best footage of the day was lost when sas decided to remove the rear facing camera that we had put on the bootlidof his car with the armco .
we have some more rear facing footage from my car which we will load up tomorrow

Great footage of Sasman's 'incident'. Did he do much damage, as that looks like a lot of energy involved in that contact with the Armco.

It is a wonderful track and I would agree with Les' comments about the parking. I was there last time out with hard old R888's in the damp and I had soil on the tyres on the outlap........Hall Bends was a bit 5p/50p for a few laps :D

if that had been me i probably would have been walking home , so god knows how he got away with a few scratches and a bent exhaust .
sas reckons he was still doing about 70 when he went on the grass , what saved him and the car were the brilliant airbags in front of the armco . he,s a very lucky boy !

Well done for posting these up Les! I love these two shots:smilielol5:

For me one of the biggest surprises of the day was our Datsun des! I spent about four laps trying to shake this red sx from my tail! Everytime i thought id made some breathing space out of one corner, we`d go round the next and he was back on my tail! I was about to pull over and let him through when the red flags came out. It was a shame as i would have liked to have followed to see i could have kept on his tail? I have to admit i did n`t like the forest section much, as i was in harry`s car, it was my first time and had seen to much "cadwell crash" footage on youtube!:)
Well thats my excuse and i`m sticking to it! (sorry if i held you up des?) Still it was a great day and i will definatly do another day there soon. I am mighty gratful to harry for sharing his car with me and i am realy sorry that i made him feel sick in the passenger seat which put a dampener on his afternoon runs:blush5: ( you were doing so well in the morning mate) Duncans car looked great and went like stink (when it was n`t protesting) It was nice to catch up with julian (ginger ninja) having made the long trip to support dunc. Les WTF! you are getting quite boring on track now mate! Whats happened to the les thats not had a good track day until hes had an off? Is it because that arse in the air ride height has been ditched in favor of the slammed on the deck track set up?
It was funny watching Jason gunning down (what on paper should be) faster cars in the focus. The same goes for Eddy (we need a re-match autotest!:D) Andy916`s scoob seemed very taistfuly done, although i did n`t see it on track. It was great to be amongst such a strong bp turn out and was a shame that Stu and Trev (thanks for the 8am wake up call yesturday mate!) could n`t make it.

Have to agree this is an awsome circuit but definitely a drivers not passenger circuit, Russ it was a good job one of us was able to make the car work propperly I blame my problems on the egg 7 Bacon sandwich, the light headed feeling is only just wearing off.

Roll on Sunday at Snetterton.
Sassman you are one lucky chap to escape with such little damage, as everyone has said the standard of driving, marshalling and TD management was excellent
Well done to all

Ha-Ha! only Andrea as rolling road block!
Yes we were in the silver classic, NOT the one with the grille missing and the stick on bullit holes!
