How about Team 'Gerry'atrics named after the team founder, obviously if we do well we will have to change that to Gerryshattrick

I think Stu would make a great team captain as we all look up to him.......literally!

And yes burger & chips will do nicely thanks Gerry :D

I'm quite looking forwards to this now :) I know that we'll have a great laugh whatever happens. Not worried about captaincy, team names or running order; I'm more than happy to go with whatever is decided.

As for Logans idea for drifting passed the pitlane, I can only assume that he has overlooked my affect on the karts power to weight ratio

Just asked David what he's like at driving a go kart and his answer was "Don't know till you try"

GULP! :o Cheers Gerry

I too have to confess that I'v only been go carting a couple of times ........so I do'nt think we will be a great threat overall

Theoretically our team should be equally matched so there is no individual pressure for a lap record but one thing is for sure (as Stuart said) we should have a bloody good laugh :D :D

Yeah, agreed. Failing that Tony we can just have a bloody good punch up with the opposition afterwards :thumb: Lids on, heads down

> Team 'Gerry'atrics

Love it!
My team of bike racing chums (one current and three ex-racers) are called Team Ixion by the way.

cheers

Come on then! What's the team name to be? We need to submit team & Captain's names before the event.

I'm ignoring the Hell's Angels wannabees for obvious reasons

Bad news & good. :?

Unfortunately, Stuart has been taken from us at the eleventh hour as he now has to w.o.r.k. :vsad:

The good news, his place will be taken by another, very capable, member of the 'BP German Synchronised Spinning Team' Herr Sidewaysfletch =D>

So to reiterate:

Venue:
TeamSport Cambridge
Royston Road
Caxton
Cambridge
CB23 3PN

Online map here:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... search.srf

Organisers recommend to wear soft shoes, like trainers. Race suits, gloves and race helmes are provided (I'll be taking my own helmet). I imagine the place will be pretty cold inside so a few layers would probably be a good idea.

We need to be there, to sign on at 6:30 or before.
Briefing is 7:00 sharp.

See you guys tomorrow evening
