lol at Lee :D

Anyway, quick update. Job done, headers now bolted up good and tight. The job took a couple of hours, which included about 4 cups of tea and endless natter. I can now apply some throttle and the car seems more responsive with the turbo spooling earlier.

I looked for the access flap that Frayz and Steven mentioned and it's the lower part of the inner wing where it hangs below the chassis rail. I didn'y need to touch that as the half moon did the job admirably.

One sour note however. While I was there, the Snap-on man arrived and I was called into the aladdins van to see their version of the samething. Very nice, 5 spanners in the rage 8mm - 19mm for

Nice one Gerry!! Glad to hear your wagon is running tickety boo!!

I'm thinking of doing the same myself and checking my headers and uppipe for leaks as it seems to be a tad down on boost and i'm running a lot of wastegate duty, even with the Prodrive EBCS!!

Pity the SnapOn man didn't turn up sooner. I find Halfords quite expensive these days which is why i buy off the net instead.

.....and yeah...take them back and get the SnapOn's, i would!! :thumb:
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!
