Andys summary was spot on. 'Walking the walk' brings risks and rewards and I think that's why there is the level of respect for each other on here that few other sites enjoy.

We did try and get Maz to take the Gloria uber-barge around there but he was having none of it :D (Maybe next time)
fyi - paypal address is sales @ bigpower . co . uk (without the spaces in it)

Andy - spot on mate - there but for the grace of ......... but it is a number's game and the more walking of the walk you do and some point your feet are going to slip.

I think that quote should be attributed to Jason?

Gerry walks the walk twice most weekends in a fairly committed way. I thought I did a fair bit of motorsport until I met him, he makes me feel like a track-dodging armchair-merchant.

Just read all of the above.....

Unfortunately i can't say it was a good night. lol

Picked up the Supra earlier that day all in good so far, made the trip to snet in the rain said a quick hello then straight on for a go.

Car didn't feel right AT ALL but carried on as you do.... came off feeling that this is going to be a struggle..... had one more go later and the car cut out a couple of times......

Came off let the car rest and watched for a bit. Later tried to start car and take it for a little test run where it then cut out and stopped.........

FUBAR

Called the AA at 6:30pm and finally got home at 11:30pm. totally pi$$ed off to say the least.

A big thank you to Stu, Andy and Ian who all made sure i was ok.

The Supra now sits on my drive way waiting to be sold as spares or repair.

Nice to meet more new members and hopefully will have more fun/luck next time. lol

Glad to hear Gerry is ok and cars not too bad.

That was a very expensive night for a 'cheap' car. Sorry to hear it.

Gutted for you Gerry :(

I hope my Fence Fund donation will help me to overcome the guilt I have for encouraging you to give it a go on the night.

Don't feel guilty, I'm a big boy now (although that does come into question when standing anywhere near Stu) and should be able to make decisions for myself.

As for the Fence Fund, Thank you to everyone who's contributed. I hope we never have a situation where I can return the favours. IYSWIM :D
