That is a Toyota Verosa big heavy tank with a 2JZ engine just goes to show what that engine can really do. That car was stupid fast.
Alex yeah i didnt think of that. But i think your right 1/8 mile is really for traction freaks 4wd, not really for 2wd there were some rwd sklines and 180Sx's there too but they didnt do as well. but they were still pretty rapid. I have seen supra's and the one's i have seen were amazing. The guy who owns the one near my house with the T88, im going to ask him if he will take me out in it and il get a vid for you. I think you will like it.

And as for the noise my ears are still ringing as i was stupid enough to go behind the start line to get the best shots. Damn that launch control, was sooooooo loud.

dee_rz wrote:Great vid and pics tara, they like the rb26 and skylines there then :D awesome cars, i take it that's 1/8 strip looks far too small to be quater mile forgive me if i've missed something :D don't think 1/8 is a favoured strip for a rwd so not surprised the supras and the like rwd guys stayed away i'd say definatly a 4wd run fav don't get me wrong there are some supras that cut 0-60ft time of 1.3 and lower dee ireland is one but best leave that to the 4wd guys.

no you didnt miss anything. Most of these cars have already ran down the quarter mile in mainland. Also believe it or not this is 150 meters. Its even shorter than an 1/8th of a mile. If you listen to the cars quite a few cars got deep into 4th gear. Now thats fast for 150 meters.
if you can cut a 1.3 60 foot time. thats good enough to hang with most 4wd race cars out there...there was a 180 that got to the semi-finals believe it or not and was beating most 4wd cars...but in the end the 32s cleaned up.
