I did those drop links on my Scoob, a nice little simple job.
Be great to this car in action again.

Today the horses have been returned to the stable!!:hurray:
After the poor result at the dyno day last month i knew something had to be done. So the other week i enlisted the help of Tim (ex-zen) to finaly fit the tdo5 turbo(been sat in my garage for 2 years) and the bigger 550cc injectors (sat in shed for 3 years) plus fit new pipe to bottom of water pump that burst on me a snetterton last month. He did a sterling job and comes very highly recommended if anybody on here has a scoob in need of sorting out.
So on to today re-map day!
I loaded a very lumpy running ol yella on to the trailer and set off to APT`s with Harry, He wanted to tag along as i think he was concerned that ol yella might have too big an advantage in the pony race?;) Although he told me it was so he could drive the mazda and trailer home for me so i could have a play either way - cheers mate.
We had arranged to meet Duncan at 1.30 at apt`s and somehow harry and i must have been on Daniel time as we were there by 12.15!:D So we mooched around for awhile and Danny came to our rescue with a lovely cup of tea- Thank you! Dunc arrived a little late, but soon had yella`s brains ripped out and nice new esl board and map sensor were soon in place. It was then rolling road time. Gary and Dunc were strapping her down when i think ol yella realised where it was and promptly pissed its self all over the floor! sorry gary:blush5: But Gary soon had her up on the ramp and it fortunatly turned out to be nothing more than the spring clip on the afore mentioned hose was knackered, So Gary fitted a new jubilee clip and all was well to try the rolling road again.

I had to take the front spoiler off just to get on the trailer.

The first run was in a rude state of health with all the new bits needing setting up. I think it made about 202bhp?
But then Doctor Duncan set about his voodoo art with his lap top and each run saw a healthy improvement finaly ending up with 307.7bhp

Ok Dunc did say that my crap grabbed in a hurry esso 97 ron fuel did n`t help the final figure, But i am over the moon with results as im still grinning now.
So thank you Tim, Duncan and Gary you are all my hero`s:kissass:
Roll on a trip to the pod i need play time!
