surely a problem would have shown up after running it/driving it for 30 mins,

Nice, I feel like buying a 205 GTI, as back in the day my friend had a Mk2 8v and I had a 309 SRI and I could toast him....

OK, you fetch a 205 gti to mix it with the golf brigade and I'll keep the Evo to play with you all. Or maybe get an MX5 to prove a point :)
