If you need something shooting, or a payload to low earth orbit. Just ask. :rolleyes:

It's been bugging me what my old BMX was since you posted this thread Dan, so I've just been searching. It was a Craig Campbell Prolite frame like this but in chrome http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Old-school-bmx-Pr ... 439cea723c I had 3 sets of Skyway wheels (white, yellow and black with coaster brake) and also a set of Z rims which were plastic rims with normal spokes.

Certainly brings back memories :conehead::D

its good to know ive brought back a bit of nostalgia to a few of you on here ;)
that frame is pretty neat, very classic small gauge tubing. and the colour is quite nice too :D im tempted to get some skymags for mine just to alternate now and then like gareth and his summer bonnet ;)

Oh yes the mighty non- buckling Z rims! I wonder if the makers ever thought about the challenge they had put down to a ten year old boy stating their wheels would bend and flex but not buckel!:rofl: I had a set on my Dp pro complete with twin top tubes! wonder what that would be worth today? Although my first bmx was a saxon raider???? I bet not may people remember that one?
Well done Dan:thumbs:This thread does bring the memories flooding back so no gerry we`ve not finnished!:D

I got through plenty of spokes trying :rofl:

Thinking back I also had a DP freestyler before getting the Craig Campbell Prolite.

Wasn't the Saxon Raider black and gold or black and red?

I could`nt find any photo`s of my old raider
Those Z rims look posher than i remember mine ( matt black) but it was about 25 years ago!:(
If you want some retro inspiration Dan- get yourself a copy of the 1983 aussie film "BMX bandits" - if nothing else should be a bloody good laugh?

My raider was a birthday present in 1983!:eek: It was crome with blue pads and wheels. Probably not worth much today as i think it was just a buget bike? Unlike the dp which i nagged my folks stupid for!:sifone:
