I've heard that driver training is the best money one can spend and today proved that without a question of a doubt. The quality of advice was outstanding. I'd never even heard of trail braking before today, Let alone how to balance the car etc etc etc. The result was that i managed to lap 2 to 3 seconds a lap faster.
I'm still running on 99.9% adrenalin at the moment so forgive me if the above makes no sense.
Very glad you enjoyed he day and glad the car lasted until the last lap. I really enjoyed it also and the highlight was the last session where you put in 3 laps that were bang on the money, fast & consistent and best of all you were the most relaxed you'd been all day. If you'd done 25s before i reckon these would have been in the 24s. Was a great day all round with my Elise Trophy racer also finding lots of time and in places we didn't fully expect.
I think the 3 key areas of great improvement for me were T1 Riches, very committed and the car felt great under full power heading for the apex. The Esses trail-braking, doubt you could have done much better there, as it was the ABS was kicking in, takes some bottle to brake & turn at 100mph+ and 3rd the thing we did later in the day with the gearchanges, getting it into the lower gear sooner before the revs had dropped, car felt much more stable which helped greatly at the Esses and Russell, remember that next time you are out on track.
