 no offence taken mate , yours is a very rapid machine indeed but jons is on another level , warp speed springs to mind mr zulu . :o
once again it highlights the emphasis on having fun in whatever we drive and not on who has the faster car , although it would be nice to have the edge someday [-o<

as usual the boys at marham put on another cracking event and the sun came out to play too so all was good .
finally killed my tyres today too , down to the canvas on the fronts now so a new set will be forth coming .

had a big spin at the fast left hander bafore the back straight and killed a couple of cones in the morning so that set the tone for the rest of the day to go even faster and get it right .
i even annoyed a couple of caterhams to the extent were one of them pulled over and waved me past because he couldnt lose me , that put a smile on my face .
all in all a good day was had by us and i cant wait for the next one already :D
took a few pics , not many but will post up soon .
nice to see everyone again
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]i used to be driven by demons ,
now i make them sit in the back

Was a good day, vr6 done well. Really pleased the new engine stayed together, done 135mph down the straight without ever really pushing for a top speed. My driving was shocking, I'd hoped the year off may have helped me forget bad habits. Bmw's were everywhere today some very fast some not. Personally thought the standards of the cars was down of previous years but the Sunday was the better groups. Thanks very much stuart for the laps out in your car was great fun. :-D

Looks like you all had a great day! Nice to see that les had his mandatory spin!
Personaly i think that marham is suited to the german runners, they seem to lap up the pounding down the runway, after all was`nt that what they were built for- storming autobarhns :?:  Lots of lazy grunt and no overheating turbo`s.
Great photo`s :thumb:

Les wasn't the only one

Very high speed tank slapper under too much throttle (shock) with me and Ben spearing backwards across the grass towards some kind of concrete thing.....Ben kept saying 'this looks bad' or similar

Then..........there was the moment that Ian and I, OK me, I lost control under very heavy braking and got the car a bit out of shape. Flicked one way and then the other before I regained the control of the car and my sphincter. Drift stylee I claimed that it was deliberate and Ian just looked at me like I was going to kill him.

Videos of both to follow
