I love this!!!!!! I used to run a stripped out mk2 Astra GTE 16V it was rotten as a pear, cost

Well this weekend has been a good one for me, I managed to get plenty of alone time to crack on with the cage...

I started off by adding a couple more mounting plates...

...followed by a few bars ive been making up during the week.

And today I welded the whole lot together, and added a few more in the front.

This is just the beginning, ive spent a long time designing the cage so as not to add too much weight or cost but make it a very strong shell. The end result should be great. :-D

Not that I know much about roll cage design, but that is looking fine!! Keep it up Jonny. It will be great to see this surprise a few people.

I havent been able to take pictures for the last couple of weeks, but im getting to an important stage with the car so I had to get my mate to take a couple of shots just for you lot. ;)

Its so frustrating not having a working camera phone!!

Ive done a few more little jobs, added a couple more bars, a quick splash of paint and now it looks like this...

...and tonight before I left work I painted the insides of the doors bonnet and bootlid.

As soon as I get some more pics i'll get them up. :D :D :D

Nice work mate Looking almost ready to go BMW slaying with :D :D :D
