Sorry Micheal, didn't mean to sound negative, realistically rain is th eonly way I would qualify for the finals, means you still have to nye on kill yourself as the power isn't there down the straights.

Its a PITA when all your kit s soaked though, plus no proper screen demist since my cage was put in :( i think its blocked some of the air vents.

I'm going to see about getting a tow van so will be able to lob more kit in that way.

I loved donny in the wet/snow/ice too - was 3rd quickest at one point :D

Who knows what will happen this time but it sure will make it exciting to watch and drive in.

Anyone from here going up to watch?

That circuit map just goes to show how low geared some of these cars are and i would have thought a wet track would be good for the lower power cars and vice versa for the high power cars.

Then it really is down to driver skills and decent wet road tyres ;)

888's are the only tyre that Toyo have available for us to use :x T1R's are just not up for it and the R1R isnt out in this country yet.

All this with 1 inch of rain forecast ... fun :D

Those R1R's look like the perfect compromise between 888's and T1R's.
I wouldn't mind some of those for year round road use never mind wet track use ;)

End of this year till the R1R's get here it looks like :(

Why not cut some 888's and be done with it? The tread pattern used by RCM, Autosportif and a few others is easy to copy and cheap to reproduce....

Best of luck to all concerned. I'm gutted that I cannot attend this round.
