This photo made me smile. Top left you've got a picture on the wall of max1 lighting his R32 up at Santa Pod and Fil looking at it like it's a little puppy dog :) (Nigh on a thousand brake and Fil's standing 4 feet away whilst Mark's doing a burnout)

That scoop is a monster. Just as well you won't be using this as a daily as with that and your driving position you won't be able to see sod all. Oh hang on....are you getting one of those polycarbonate panels in the floor so you can see where you're going when you're on the back wheels? :D

Image

Some great progress in recent days then mate; 1-10, just how excited are you at the moment? :)

I bet the thoughts of you at the christmas tree at the Pod are so clear in your mind. That will be some kind of buzz that first day out.

Excitement factor about a 7 at the moment it's getting closer although I daren't think too much of it being finished just keep doing one job at a time until it's done
Polycarbonate panels wouldn't do me much good as my gut would obstruct the view!!
I got a bollocking from Jo in bed the other night as I was keeping her awake - she said " For f**k's sake what's the matter with your feet you keep twitching? "
I was laying there practising launching and flooring the accelerator - best not to tell her that.
" Just a bit of cramp sweetheart......go back to sleep "

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Some pictures of the oil cooler mount, I didn't want to cable tie it through the rad as normal as I wanted as much clean air going to both as possible

I phoned Mark (Max 1) to let him know we now have a winter project and couldn't help think how it must be for him as his engine has blown more times than I can remember - feel sort of lucky really as this is the first engine in this car!!

Haven't posted for a while but the project is still moving forward, most of the stuff that has been done lately doesn't seem worth posting as it's all bitty stuff but I did manage to get all the fuel lines and water lines sorted.

I will try and post a shot up of a camera phone footage, not sure if this will work, the quality of picture and sound is poor but gives an idea.........

just need to get the hood sorted, full exhaust system, few bits of wiring and it should be near ready for it's MOT beginning of May. If I can work out how to get the video from my camera downloaded I will post up some more
