I drive a mk2 astra i'm afraid
Its running aprox 280/290 bhp and is stripped out, caged etc.
Have done a few track days at Snetterton now and Donnington. Hoping to get another track day in before going back to the ring in 2 weeks.

The guy who told us about this track day calls himself 'fast eddy' if that means anything to you?

lol he is doing some work on another mk2 astra which belongs to my mate. Should he be worried I've never met the guy lol

I'm just worried about the pertol issue as it 300 mile round trip for us. Not sure if we will end up making it if the petrol crisis continues into next week. Ive a full tank and the 20litre petrol can full of v power right now but we still will need another tank to get us home, whilst this wouldnt have been a problem as i know there is a shell on the a11 plus we passed 2 on the A14 when we went to yarmouth last month but Im worried if they have run out or run out before thursday then all the work to get the car sorted in time for Thursday will be ruined by greedy tanker drivers :x

The petrol 'crisis' seems to have run out of puff Graham, at least in these parts. Tell you what, if you're that worried, I'll get two jerry cans of fuel for you and bring them up on the night. Please confirm that you would like me to do this and I'll sort it out. (Just pay for the fuel mate, I'll get you a receipt )
