Pez, mate you live on a mountain I wouldn't trust any any handbrake.
Just glad the damage was minor.

The thing is the spot where it actually started to roll looks flat, though I must admit that I had noticed this optical illusion before now and if I'm perfectly honest I think today I just had one of those 'special' moments

All that was missing was the theme tune from Benny Hill and the mandatory scantily clad women chasing him around my garden and running figure of eights around the Land Rover and caravan....

On another positive note though, I have found thousands of pounds worth of my kit in there that I'd forgotten I had.......ebay :sifone:

Would I be right in assuming that the following is correct:

(Fuel Cell)

Port 1 - Fuel Return / or breather

Port 2 - Fuel Return / or breather

Port 3 - Fuel Out (to lifter fuel pump - swirl pot)

Port 4 - Fuel Out (to lifter fuel pump - swirl pot)

(Swirl Pot)

Port 1 - Fuel Return / or breather

Port 2 - Fuel In (from lifter pump)

Port 3 - Fuel Return (From FPR)

Port 4 - Fuel In (from lifter pump)

Port 5 - Fuel Out (to primary fuel pump then on to fuel rail)

Image

and is this inside for baffle'ing purposes?

would this fuel cell be gravity fed to a lifter pump rather than an in tank pump, due to the angled downward section where Port 3 and Port 4 are located?

Well it's the first day back having had a short family holiday and now it's just a case of opening (and collecting) the parcels from Mr Courier...

Japspeed have sent a set of their polybush diff bushes (I opted for polybush as the solid ones are supposed to be really noisy when fitted)

Image

and I've got a choice to make with regards to spark plugs

I have two sets (one set of Bosch and one set of NGK) and to be honest I'm not sure that there will be much of a difference either way

and DW kindly sent a free bag of Haribo sweets with the set of sold diff bushes for the rear of the diff

Image

the next job on the list is to drop the rear subframe and diff and remove the old stock bushes

Oh and the replacement rear light cluster for the Land Rover has arrived as well.....though I suspect replacing that will be the easiest of the two jobs

Could somebody recommend a pair of suitable external fuel pumps (pre-swirl pot) please?

Is that as a lifter pump or as your primary?

Ah I see, are you still using the OEM fuel tank with the internal pump feeding a swirl pot?

I'm binning the OEM fuel tank on the zed so will lose the internal pump, therefore I thought I'd need a scavenging/lifter pump (or pumps) to constantly feed the swirl pot. I've got an Aeromotive 1000 as the primary (post swirl pot) fuel pump.

I can't see any reason why I couldn't use an 044 to feed the swirl pot unless there's a pressure issue (though I suppose a stock internal pump would be high pressure anyway)

or maybe I'm just talking through my hoop :sifone:
