Looking good mate. Just need to spend a few quid on driver training now ;)

Do you have an ETA on completion?

nice pics and build.

2 bar? on a standardish turbo? no wonder it blew up. Even a substantially larger 20g turbo is still way out of its compressor efficiency at that boost level. Doing nothing but blowing hot air. just a wee bit of detonation I would think. :P

gt35r should do nicely however with a new build

not quite standard,i was running a ball bearing converted version of the standard turbo with bigger back housing, others have run these to well over 2 bar

hmm interesting. so its still the same compressor then? Generally as u know stock evo twin scroll 16gs generally run out around 1.6 bar (depends on VE of engine and many of factors of course)..and is verified by the compressor map as well. Seeing a modified 16g of this sort would be cool to see run over 2 bar and make power. are other people tuning these on the dyno and proving they make power in that region? or are they just boosting 2+ bar on the butt dyno on the street? that definately would peak my interest to see this hybrid turbo in action at 2 bar. also how much difference in spool is the ball bearing conversion over the standard mitsu thrust bearings?

cheers.
