I have always been fine there although like many tuners will try and destroy your confidence in the person that has tuned your car, if it isnt them, to get you to get them to tune/map your car.
I will be taking mine there for a RR dyno run for the sake of comparison though but wouldnt get him to map my car.

At the end of the day every tuner might have a bad day and if someone goes on that bad day then it may give a jaded view of what they are really like. Some well known rotary tuners sometimes get a pasting on the MRC forums when this happens but if a load of people stick up for them and there are a load of positive posts then that usually qualifies a good place in my eyes.
I am sorry to say that they dont have a good enough reputation with rotary cars and the fact that nobody I know with a Rex has taken a car there is enough for me to stay away.
But am sure if I had a Scoob I would give them a try.

Maybe it was just a bad day for him, but he could have talked, made good the errors and I would have been happy.
Maybe he is good woth Scooby's, but why should a GTO engine be any different, the same measurements are being taken....
Just my experience there are plenty of others that do rate him.
