I would imagine the siera is to old for such technology!
So the RWD box just bolts straight on?
I remember someone saying that if you are drifting a sierra then you should try and source a P100 rear diff as the ratio is a lot closer as it is used for the pick up truck carrying loads.
Dagenham Destroyer *updated*
No idea about the rear axle. I have been told to try and source a Granada steering rack for more lock.
So what do people think. I'm happy to donate the car to the forums users to go drifting in. We can all chip in for upkeep+mods and we can all go drifting. That'll be hilarious
( I will retain all ownership rights of course
)

Yes i have heard of that too,, the sierra took over from the cortina and the running gear parts are pretty much identical.... but finding a P100 in a scrappy is gonna be hard work these days :roll:323ian wrote:I would imagine the siera is to old for such technology!

Change of plan
The Sierra is being returned to a road legal state and then she'll be used a little more regularly. It will still have the full cage, poly windows etc, just adding lights etc. That will give me the chance to get some essentials done on the GTR. May well get the XR4x4 converted to rwd when time and funds allow.
I still have a Pug 205 GTI sitting in a shed if anyone wants to adopt it. White stripped 1.9. Assumed non-runner as its stood up for 12 months, did run fine prior to storage but please note the rear beam was starting to seize. This is completely free of charge to however wants to collect it.
