Just a few more photos as promised -
The original sunroof had rather an alarming 2cm gap between the glass and the roof so a replacement was sort out - I managed to locate a 2nd hand Britax unit in a mk2 golf gti at a local breakers for a fiver, so a quick hack job with an angle grinder later (sacrilege I know lol). I had a reasonable replacement which polished up rather well - the added advantage of the old gti roof coming with the sunroof was that I now have a template for use on the Z!
I have now ripped the engine out for the 3rd time and in the process I busted two out the 3 exhaust studs lol - hey ho it is repairable I will refurb it while the new clutch is in transit repalcing the 2 busted studs with bolts instead.
