Why not? One lady owner, never been raced or rallied (no really, it's Debbie "definately not the Stig" Hayward). ;)

And it definately has never, ever been on a dyno. Not once. Ever.

:D

Had the K Sports with the blue stuff pads fitted by Gary and Danny last week. I've done about 100 miles so far and they seem to be bedding in nicely. The pads are a bit noisy but no more than the red stuffs that were in the Brembos.

Today I picked the car up from Supreme after they straightened and resprayed the front bumper. They also fitted the carbon splitter for me. As usual they have done a spot on job.

I've just got the harness bar and harness to fit when I get round to it.

No pictures but a bit of an update.

The Evo had been handling like a bag of shit lately so I took it over to APT the other week to get it looked at. After taking a look Gary couldn't find much wrong with it apart from not liking the BC coil overs. Even though the BC's have 30 clicks for adjusting the damping they seem to be either far to soft or rock hard. It was decided that I should change the BC's for some Tein Superstreets.
I've also not been getting on very well with the EBC bluestuff pads. There was no pedal feel, they were very noisy and in general I hated them. Gary advised me to go for a set of XP8's.

Today I've been over to APT to have the coil overs and the pads fitted plus have a service and MOT.
After everything was done and the alignment was sorted at SCA it was time for the drive home. I don't know what to say really it feels like a totally different car. It now handles really nicely with no banging and crashing over bumps and potholes and the brakes are totally amazing. It's great to have confidence back in the car and not worry about it trying to throw me off the road.

Cheers Gary for good advise and sorting it for me, even though it did take a little while longer than expected.

 glad you got your confidence back in the car tony
i use bc's on the pulsar and i cant fault them i actually prefer them to the fully adjustable teins i had (on a different pulsar and the sti) i found the bc's had more adjustment etc.. i guess it could be down to spring rates or something i dont know

we are all different :D
Small one's are more juicy
