It doesn't matter what Max (The SSpanky Monkey) Mosley or his poison dwarf Bernie (The Shot His Bolt) Ecclestone throw at McLaren......Lewis, Ron and the crew will prevail and still stuff the Scooteria where it hurts.
My money is still on and will remina on Lewis and McLaren, and the more shite they pile on them the more determined McLaren will be.
Bring It On!!! :fight:

It's all about grey areas in the rules.
The penalty was for gaining an unfair advantage... but this as it stands is very subjective. Hamilton complied with the rules and let Kimi back in front and being a true racer tucked straight in behind Kimi knowing full well that Kimi would move to the left to block him. Hamilton basically out thought and out manouvered Kimi. This was the alledged unfair advantage, being that tight behind kimi.
This is only my opinion
Lewis did the right thing as far as i am concerned he followed the letter of the law and took advantage of the grey areas, at the most he should have got a warning and then the rules tightened to state that 'in an incident such as that you must give back the place and not overtake the other car until after the next bend/corner.
Exploiting grey areas is something done by all top teams.
A good example of a grey area close to home is the overtaking rule for club class in the TA
Can you overtake in a bend......................................Yes
The rules state that club class competitors must only overtake on the left. It does not say that you cannot overtake in a bend, that is mearly implied

One of these days the FIA will get found out and be in so much trouble they'll have no choice but to sack all the decision making numpties and send them to gaol for dodgy dealings, or worse disband the FIA and start again, which might not be a bad idea actually.
The FIA are so far up Ferrari's arse that it's blatantly obvious there is stuff going on in the background we know bugger all about.
What about the pit crew and pitlane polava with Sutil that Massa was involved in at the Valencia grand prix. Ferrari were under investigation and nothing happened. The whole thing just disappeared into thin air!!
According to everyone in the know, including the ITV commentators, Ferrari should have been penalised because they breached the rules, and as we all know according to the FIA.......rules are bloody rules!! In which case fecking stick to them!!
It just seems quite obvious there is one rule for Ferrari and another for everyone else!! This is exactly the kind of thing that will turn me off F1 in the future if it carries on unabated!!

Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

But Hamilton complied with the letter of the law as confirmed by Charlie Whiting at the time. Ferrari pit lane was a clear breach of the rules and was confirmed as an un-safe release - yet no penalty (yes I am aware fo 10,000 euro fine but come on that is bollox all to an F1 team such as Ferrari or and F1 driver that has more than that tucked down the back of their sofa in
According to the interview with Ron Denis, in Charlie Whiting's 'opinion' Lewis complied with the reg.
How was the penalty decided? 25secs. seems somewhat arbitrary, the norm being 10 secs. or was this the figure that would give Ferrari and Massa the desired advantage?

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

I understand from the news just now that McLaren are taking this to appeal at the FIA Court of Appeals.
What's the bettings he gets more of the same from them as well!!
If i were Ron Dennis i would forget it and just make damn sure McLaren are absolutely on top of their game and make mince meat of Ferrari between now and the end of the season.
As Duncan said......it would make victory all the more sweeter!!
P.S. as an afterthought, i believe it would pay dividends for McLaren and others to break away from FIA F1 and start their own race series...maybe call it F1-XFIA. They should then employ some of the greats of F1 and other motor racing disciplines and create their own governing body made of proper ex-race drivers, people that really know what they are talking about from experience, and not pencil pushing know-feck-all's who's one and only aim is to make money...and lots of it, at the expense of the integrity of the sport!!
You can't bribe the likes of Jackie Stewart, Sterling Moss, Damon Hill, Alain Prost, Emerson Fitipaldi, Nigel Mansell etc...etc... They would soon tell the likes of Ferrari and others to play the game properly or feck off!!

Ouch. That seems unjust. Having got to know the stewards as well as he has done recently, maybe he would have been better off following Kimi through La Source and passing him out of Eau Rouge. There does seem to be a Ferrari Bias, I'm surprised the checks and balances don't even these decisions out.
