Finally got the car driveable on Saturday night, after a few probs with the brakes and the bias valve, drove off to map and after 4 miles it broke down with a crank sync ref error!!

So after a run home in freezing cold and driving rain, i took the pathfinder back with tools to try and sort it (left pat sat in the car on a roundabout :D )

1 hour later, pi55ing wet through, and hands unable to move i got it going again with a new sensor and alterations to wiring. Took the pathfinder back and run back to the car, and off we go, bollocks, misfire at 5500rpm!! Then a intercooler hose blew off!

Enough was enough, went home and called it a day, it was just after midniight!.

Got up Sunday, tidy a few things round the car and make it runable. Decided to drive the car down to Zen, rather than trailer it, just to put a few miles on it and bed the tripple carbon clutch in. Car ran well, and on occassion the misfire wasnt there, as an unlucky 911 Carrera 4 found out on the A14 :D and thats with global 5 degrees removed.

That single incident made the whole sweat and blood (lots) worthwhile.

I will be collecting the car with the trailer on Friday morning, change the crank trigger wheel, change the oil and filter, and then check the map out with Pat.

Still a few things to do before the car goes on the trailer Saturday afternoon, but all superficial stuff tbh.

Thanks to Pat and David for their help, as ever.

Also picked up my new trailer on Saturday, having sold my old trailer so we could get a more versatile one for hay and straw  , so fingers crossed, almost ready to run!

Well, it worked, albeit not 100% :D and it came home in one piece which is a better start than last year.

The car looked quick and balanced. Good times too considering the conditions. See you in Scotland :D
