I had my first go at green laning yesterday courtesy of a local guy and member of the Pajero owners club. Good fun and completely legal all in and around the Thetford area.

Only got a few pics

That looks like a cool way to spend a Sunday. I'll have to wait till the new year and some extra funds in the kitty before i do this. It would make a change from tear arsing around tarmac.

Slowly does it :D
Buggers cancelled my op just a couple of days before it was due. Inconsiderate barstewards!!

LoL. The first one I built ended up in the states! Was a similar spec, filling up with juice one day and some yank just *had* to have it. A healthy profit was had none the less. 8) Landys in particular are very rare/desirable in America, the Defender was never released due to safety issues :? They can only be imported once they are 20 years old.
The last one I built was awesome loads of power, air locking diffs, it was unstoppable  :D

If you fancy a day out laning round Swaffham/Kings Lynn. Give me a shout, my Disco is very nice laner. I quite fancy a rural pub crawl

We have been doing a bit of green laning recently in Essex and even went out once at night - spooky :o

We plan on doing another night time run from Braintree, taking in 3 or 4 fords and some green lanes between 7.00pm - 11.00pm one evening 8)

There's loads of lanes around this area, just get your selfe some Ordnance Survey maps and look for either BYWAYS or RUPPS ... road used as public path

Or have a look here http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/

Have fun :D
