Anyone doing the AEMC hethel round this Sunday??

Final regs have arrived. There's only 3 in my class and no Mike Blackwell

Bloody early start, signing on is at 7:00 with a 105 entry. Max was 110 so there may be a chance of an entry Andy. The usual crowd seem to be there, John Start, Kim, etc. so you'll be in good company.

The course looks very interesting with a few bends, couple of chicanes and a flamin' roundabout. I'd better get there early and walk it.

Logan, PM your address and I'll get a pass off to you, but only if you promise to smile

Its very tempting to try and borrow my brothers GT4 for this tho if I can gain a late entry....hmmm, as my Rays with the RE070;s will fit stright on!!!

Andy, Are you going to do the MLR sprint this Friday? They're really struggling for numbers and you'd really enjoy it. Loads of timed runs and a 64ft time.

Yep! If you get your finger out, you could do both. Breakfast and lunch thrown in with the MLR (they know how to look after their members)

AND then, a cuppa courtesy of Blacky on Sunday.

Track looks excellent from the plan.

I have to say the MLR track doesnt look the ticket for my car, I can see it being off boost 90% of the time and low speed understeer into the nearest tyre wall

That said, will they take cash on the day?

I can squeeze one event in, but not sure Cathy will see the funny side if I enter both!

It's about as wide as Barkston but without any straight bits, other than the start.

Cheaper than Hethel.

More runs than Hethel.

More sociable than Hethel, but not too much.

More fierce competition than Hethel, probably. But good humouredly.

More to hit than Hethel but at lower speed.

Less grip than Hethel, probably.

Do both and suffer the consequences from the little lady

Another consideration, if you can really only do one. You may not get an entry at Hethel whereas there's still a few places at MLR.
