Went from Wisbech down to Welwyn at about 8am - fine until I got to Chatteris - by the time I approached Huntingdon things had turned pretty horrid - with ditches sprouting cars becoming worryingly common :o

A couple of hours later I pulled into work only find most of the guys who live within 10 miles hadn't bothered to turn in :x lesson learnt - shouldn't have bothered - still got to send plenty of emails calling the absentees - big girls blouses etc

There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tape.....

Looking out the window now and there is no snow, its all gone.

Worst day of the year, they said. Gonna be a nightmare everywhere, they said. Worst weather for 10 years, they said.

What a washout, was looking forward to an xbox 360 playing day off work lol !!!

Still snow here but not much - they over-react and cause panic and excuses for people to take a day off.

Shame I work from home :(
