Mini report...

Set of at 530ish as couldn't sleep was wet but not raining. Dad was using his
birthday present a TomTom so i was planning on getting some shut eye but
the bloody thing doesn't shut up "2nd exit, 3rd exit, 200yds" i nearly threw it
out the window.

As we got close there was a huge black cloud hanging over the circuit we were
some of the first few to arrive although some crazy BP member had camped the
nite. As we unloaded it tipped it down, great start.

Signed on and noise tested 105db at 5K so just in

A huge variety rolled in with some rich geezers turning up with a truck full of lotus
elise's and ?500's. A minted group but there track etiquette was something to be
desired. What was said in the brief over take on straights or was it barge your way
in front of any car you like, luckily the only damage they caused was to there own
cars.. :jerk:

In the brief it was mentioned that 3 cars stacked it in the sighting laps at the last
event and it wasn't far of happening this time the track was unbelievably slippery
i will admit that hairpin nearly caught me out. For most of the morning session to
be honest.

The first few laps were in all honesty worrying as the grip level was so low it was
either going to be a slow day or end in disaster.

Chris curves was great fun hanging the arse out of the ax lap after lap scaring the
old man on a few occasions with a bit of offroading.

A few oil spillages and track incidents and it was dinner. luckily the weather changed
and it allowed a dry line to appear and the track was transformed becoming a great
circuit for the little ax. Dad had a drive and was glad of the weather had change and
was equally impressed with the circuit as from the passenger seat the blind summits
and corners are a bit scary.

The drying track gave a chance for me to slap the colways on replacing the A539's,
Charlies could now be held flat. The mountains great fun coming over the top in 2nd
loosing traction giving it a little wiggle getting ready for hall bends .

Cadwell will definitely be on the list for next year hopefully in the dry with some full slicks fitted.

You guys are going to have fun tomorrow fingers crossed for a dry day. [-o<

Well, that was fun...all the way up until the E30 fell off the trailer on the way home...teach me to attach tiedowns to something that was actually a late addition to the trailer spot welded on....

We (Pete and I) had a great day today. Report and pictures to follow :D

The Sierra was imperious on it's 51st trackday. It devoured most of the cars that were there in the damp and only slightly fewer in the dry. Pete's coming on leaps and bounds and for someone who has never driven the track before, he did very well indeed.

What was the
