Yes and yesIWANT1 wrote:Stu any idea how this power to weight scoring system will work?
Have you sorted any champ graphics yet?

The calculus takes into account circuit length, power to weight, drive train and tyre types. These are still being tweaked now and in likelihood will be tweaked all year so next years series will be a lot more accurately handicapped than this one, that I can tell you. We are using the basic (anything but) set up that the TVR series have used and refined over a seven year period. It was trialled at the Honington event a few weeks ago and will be looked at after each event by a few of us on here and also the guy that runs that series.
Graphics will be rolled out as soon as the MSA give us the green light, which is imminent. These will be available in the form of door card banners and sunstrips. They should be pretty cheap and will be sold as cheaply as we can so that as many people as possible buy them for their cars when they compete.
Hope that helps Lee.

Yes and how sad is that? I did of course round it up as you do with a slide ruleruss979 wrote:You`ve actualy enjoyed working this out, have`nt you? :-DHarry wrote:This is my BAFO for power - weight handicapping Power at FW = 306 bhp weight of standard car 1213 KG allow 3KG for lightweight bonet say 1210 kg weight of driver 87 kg total weight 1297kg =236 BHP per tonne

That's great Stu, sounds like some calculation. Does it allow for different vehicles to be used by one driver ie if i drag the evo or AX out at future events, or someone buys a new ride mid season?
