Thought I had better bring this post up to date, panels went back on and then the rear had to be sorted

Next project was to get the chute hooked up, I had never seen the inside of one of these things so was really interested to see how they worked. After unpacking the chute I made up a template for drilling the holes, mounted the bag on the bracket and then repacked the chute, I can't believe how much tension is on the spring inside these things it's a two handed job just holding the spring in the bag and then with your third hand you have to thread the string through the holes. I'm sure it gets easier when you learn the knack of doing it

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

No finish date in mind, just chipping away at it bit by bit as long as it moves forward I'm happy

I managed to secure a deal on an engine for the Stang, had to change the way I was heading due to finances but can honestly say I am over the moon.
I will post some pictures tommorrow, it is just the block and headers but will do what it says on the tin and will be a great winter project.
It's one of those things where I keep going to the garage to have a look, I'm sure you have all been there at one stage or another with bits of a car :-D
